Folate deficiency information

• Folate deficiency is one of the most common vitamin deficiencies.
• In individuals with homozygous (TT) or heterozygous (CT) genetic predisposition, eating folate-rich foods may not provide the recommended daily dosage of folate; thus the need for supplementation. Methylfolate Plus supplies the glucosamine salt of (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolate, and is structurally analogous to the reduced and active form of folic acid.

• Superoxide Dismutase (from vegetable culture) 12.5 mcg
• Catalase (from vegetable culture) 12.5 mcg
• Specially grown, biologically active vegetable culture containing naturally associated phytochemicals including polyphenolic compounds with SOD and catalase, dehydrated at low temperature to preserve associated enzyme factors.

• Other ingredients: Cellulose, stearic acid (vegetable source), magnesium stearate (vegetable source) and food glaze.
