- Digestive Enzymes Ultra contains an all-encompassing profile of vegetarian digestive enzymes. Proteases included in this formula provide activity across a wide pH range to aid protein and peptide breakdown. Lipase promotes lipid breakdown; amylase and glucoamylase assist starch and glycogen breakdown. Invertase and lactase support carbohydrate digestion and dairy sugar lactose. It also includes enzymes for fiber breakdown and nutrient bioavailability, and alpha-galactosidase helps with certain complex carbohydrates found in vegetables, grains and legumes.
