- As much as 98% of the fragile, living organisms in many acidophilus powders, liquids and capsules are destroyed by harsh stomach acids before they reach the lower intestinal tract. This product contains selected acid resistant and heat tolerant organisms in delayed release vegetable capsules to deliver maximum potency of live organisms to the lower intestinal tract where they are needed to restore and/or maintain a balance of healthful organisms.
- Each capsule contains 2.8 billion live organisms. This product is acid resistant and heat tolerant to allow delivery of the live organisms into the intestinal tract. The microorganisms in this product are specially selected strains which are proven to be acid and bile resistant.
- One capsule daily after a meal for two weeks, then dosage may be increased to one capsule three times daily after meals. Or as directed by a doctor.
