Folate deficiency information
- Folate deficiency is one of the most common vitamin deficiencies.
- In individuals with homozygous (TT) or heterozygous (CT) genetic predisposition, eating folate-rich foods may not provide the recommended daily dosage of folate; thus the need for supplementation. Methylfolate Plus supplies the glucosamine salt of (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolate, and is structurally analogous to the reduced and active form of folic acid.

- Other ingredients: Cellulose, stearic acid (vegetable source), magnesium stearate (vegetable source) and food glaze.
