Vitamin C supports healthy function of vascular endothelial cells, which line the circulatory system. Vitamin C is also essential for the development and maintenance of connective and epithelial tissue, which line the outer surfaces of the body and its cavities (including the skin and mucosal membranes of the gut). Vitamin C is needed to form collagen, a connective tissue protein that is vital for skin elasticity, tissue growth, and normal repair. Vitamin A is required for forming epithelial tissue, particularly in the eye.

How does this product support a healthy heart?

Both vitamin C and the complex nutrition provided by the many whole food ingredients in the formula support cholesterol metabolism and blood cholesterol levels in healthy individuals.
