Encouraging results in clinical studies

• Study 1—overweight: in a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial, two groups of overweight subjects followed an energy-balanced diet and physical activity regimen and took two capsules of the same synbiotic blend found in FlorAssist Liver Restore every day for 28 weeks. The study measured enzymes that are commonly used to judge liver health. While statistical differences between the placebo and synbiotic groups appeared in just 7 weeks, at the end of the study the synbiotic group had shown remarkable improvement.
• The probiotic-prebiotic combo in FlorAssist Liver Restore also helped improve measurements of C-reactive protein, a biomarker produced in the liver. Healthy hsCRP levels can be consistent with liver health. In this study, hsCRP measurements improved by 54% after 28 weeks.
• Study healthy BMI: a second study mimicked the first, except used subjects with a normal body mass index. The results were similar. The placebo group exhibited an improvement in liver enzyme biomarkers by only 3%, while the synbiotic group improved by 17% after 28 weeks of supplementation. In this study, hsCRP improved by 46% after 28 weeks.
